Candalyn is originally from Denton, Texas. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Tulsa in 2018 where she was also member of the Track and Field team. Following graduation, she initially pursued a career as a financial analyst focusing primarily on health insurance plans. She obtained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2024 and joined Dewberry & Hubbard upon graduation. During law school, she served as a Head Student Mentor, Admissions student employee, Class Treasurer, and was actively engaged with the Black Law Students Association and Health Law Association.

Candalyn has gained valuable experience across a range of practice areas, including criminal defense, healthcare, and employment law. Notable internships include a summer with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Oklahoma City, an externship with Integris Health Legal Counsel, and an internship with Dewberry & Hubbard.
