Ben is a native of Houston, Texas. In 2018, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a History minor from Texas Tech University. Ben worked for YETI Coolers in Austin, Texas as a Customer Service Specialist for two years following his undergraduate studies. Ben first came to Oklahoma City in 2020 to attend law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law. He graduated from Oklahoma City University of Law in 2023 and joined Sweet Dewberry and Hubbard shortly after.

While in law school, Ben served as Treasurer for the Texas Legal Society as well as a Student Ambassador to the Student Bar Association and was a member of the American Bar Association. His interest in litigation piqued through his participation in the 1L Moot Court Competition. During law school, Ben participated in various externships and internships, including a judicial internship with the Texas Third Court of Appeals in Austin, a summer clerkship with Ramey, Chandler, and Quinn in Houston, and a Corporate Counsel Externship with the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

During his free time, Ben enjoys cooking, playing guitar, mountain and road cycling, and spending time with friends and family.
